Personal Growth Workshop Series
Understanding Financial Literacy: a 3-workshop series designed to help Illinois residents with financial budgeting, financial management, and setting financial goals for the future
GROWTH, Bridge Investment Community Development Corporation, and Project NOW together are launching a new three-part workshop series promoting personal growth through financial literacy, financial management, and financial goal setting for a better future.
The workshops are open to any Illinois resident and are free. Registration is required by calling 309-788-6311 or emailing email@example.com. The workshop will be offered by a hybrid style offering a very limited in-person opportunity with a maximum of five participants. The workshop will also be in an online webinar format for registrants who wish to participate remotely.
“As a HUD-approved housing counseling agency, GROWTH has witnessed firsthand how its clients have benefited from HUD-approved housing counseling and financial literacy workshops. Since 1998, more than 2,500 individuals have participated in GROWTH’s workshops that have directly resulted in participants increasing their knowledge and ability to repair their credit, create a budget, purchase a home, and save for the future,” comments Brian Hollenback, President & CEO for GROWTH. “This unique partnership between Bridge Investment Community Development Corporation, a Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI) and Project NOW, a regional Community Action Agency, is an innovative way for participants to receive a lot of valuable information and learn about opportunities that will help them build a better financial future.”
The workshops will be held quarterly and begins on Monday, January 11th from 6:00-7:00 p.m. CST. Registration is required in advance by calling (309) 788-6311 or emailing firstname.lastname@example.org. Workshops are listed below.
