Mount Carroll, IL – Economic Growth Corporation (GROWTH) and Growth General Contracting, LLC, collectively known as the Project Team, have published its notice encouraging subcontractors to bid on its Early Childhood Development Center at Shimer Square, in Mount Carroll, Illinois. The required services include Electrical, Painting, Plumbing, HVAC, Site Work, Paving, Carpentry, etc. 

The center will be constructed on the northeast corner of Shimer Square at 203 E. Seminary St., Mount Carroll, IL 61053. This project involves building a new 5,000 sq ft early childhood development center, complete with a parking lot, designated drop-off/pick-up zone, new sidewalks, and additional site work to enhance accessibility and functionality. 

GROWTH encourages all qualified subcontractors to submit their proposals and be a part of this transformative development. Women-owned and minority-owned businesses are particularly encouraged to bid. About the Project 
The Early Childhood Development Center at Shimer Square, the first new construction on the campus since the 1950s, is building an essential community facility creating jobs and meeting the need for childcare access for families living within a 30-minute radius of Mount Carroll, IL. Tailored for early childhood education for children aged 0-5, this new facility responds to significant demands highlighted in a 2022 feasibility study, available on www.ShimerSquare.com.  
By opting for new construction, GROWTH ensures a safe, optimal learning environment while adhering to budgetary constraints. This project not only supports children's development but also acts as a catalyst for economic growth, creating jobs, preserving and attracting families to the region, with plans for a phase two in an existing building to further address the study's identified needs.
