Beth Payne
Senior Vice President

Beth Payne has served as Senor Vice President since March 2022, after joining the organization in 2010. She brings more than 18 years of experience in business administration and management, with a proven track record of driving business development and fostering relationships with community stakeholders.

As Senior Vice President, Beth oversees the organization’s support operations, including marketing, community outreach, corporate communications, and coordination of the organization's governing and advisory boards of directors. She is directly responsible for evaluating outputs, outcomes, and impacts related to organizational activities, working closely with borrowers to track and report on benchmarks that ensure effectiveness within underserved communities. Her efforts in capital raising, marketing, and community outreach have resulted in the deployment of millions in capital to underserved communities, advancing economic development, business growth, and revitalization efforts.

Prior to her current role, Beth served as Administration Director from 2012 to 2020 and as Executive Assistant to the President/CEO from 2010 to 2012. During this time, she played a key role in marketing and community outreach for more than $21.6 million in federal Neighborhood Stabilization Program funds and $3.5 million in Illinois Attorney General National Foreclosure Settlement Funds. Through these programs, Beth led efforts that generated more than $2.5 million in single-family real estate sales to households earning 120% and 50% of the area median income across northwestern Illinois.

Beth is regarded for her ability to manage program and impact reports, collaborate with stakeholders, and deliver meaningful outcomes in community and economic development initiatives.
