Director of Property Management

Carey Jorgensen serves as Director of Property Management for Home Base Property Management, LLC, a wholly owned property management subsidiary of Economic Growth Corporation, bringing over two decades of property management experience to her role. She has been managing GROWTH’s properties since 2001 and formally joined as Director in 2017 when Home Base was formed.

Carey oversees the leasing and management of residential and mixed-use properties across Illinois and eastern Iowa. This portfolio includes approximately 461 multi-family rental housing units, serving 870 tenants, and 152,390 square feet of commercial space. Her responsibilities also include managing property cash flow, monitoring market trends to set competitive leasing rates, and conducting comparative analyses to guide development strategies. Her expertise ensures the long-term success and sustainability of the organization’s housing and commercial assets.

Carey’s deep industry knowledge and longstanding property management experience has been instrumental in advancing GROWTH's mission to drive community and economic development.
