​GROWTH is a HUD Approved Housing Counseling Agency serving Illinois residents. GROWTH provides enhanced access to its programs and financial services that include the following programs:
  • Homebuyer Downpayment Assistance
  • Homeowner Rehabilitation Assistance Programs
  • Financial Education & Financial Literacy Counseling
  • Foreclosure Prevention
GROWTH ensures its housing staff undergo rigorous training to attain HUD certifications, enabling them to assist individuals in Illinois with financial education, housing counseling, and foreclosure prevention services. GROWTH offers a range of counseling services including pre-purchase and post-purchase counseling, foreclosure prevention counseling, owner-occupied rehabilitation programs, purchase-rehabilitation programs, and other assistance programs for down payments and closing costs.

Homebuyer Education 
GROWTH provides pre-purchase counseling and homebuyer education workshops to ensure that Illinois homebuyers enter the home-buying process fully informed and prepared. All Illinois homebuyers participating in any of GROWTH's homebuyer programs are required to attend a one-day homebuyer education class. This class must be completed by the homebuyer(s) before making an offer on a home.

Foreclosure Prevention 
GROWTH offers foreclosure prevention counseling for individuals facing foreclosure or experiencing housing instability.
