Cindy Berg
Chief Financial Officer

Ms. Cindy Berg was hired as Chief Financial Officer in 2017. In her capacity as CFO, Ms. Berg is responsible for all aspects of the financial operation of the company, administering and guiding the finance and accounting department staff to ensure that the financial reporting is in accordance with best accounting practices. 

In addition, Cindy has vast experience in federal and state regulations and grant compliance. She is also responsible for risk management for the company’s assets. In terms of program compliance, she has overseen the structuring and reporting for $170 million in projects that have utilized Historic Tax Credits, State Affordable Housing Tax Credits, and TIF.  

Ms. Berg has over 20 years of experience in financial management in the private, public and non-profit sectors, with a focus on financial institutions and non-profit corporations. Cindy is a CPA, licensed in Illinois and Iowa, and holds a BBA degree in Accounting and Business Administration in Finance from Augustana College in Rock Island, IL. ​

Cindy serves on the Advisory Board for Legacy Economic Growth Fund, LLC and Century Community Growth Fund, LLC, the Board of Trustees for the Boys and Girls Club of the Mississippi Valley, past Junior Achievement volunteer, and Past President of the Buffalo Elementary School PTA.
