Cindy Berg
Chief Financial Officer

Cindy Berg has served as Chief Financial Officer since 2017. In her capacity as CFO, Ms. Berg is responsible for all aspects of the financial operation of the company, administering and guiding the finance and accounting department staff to ensure that the financial reporting is in accordance with best accounting practices. 

Cindy brings over 29 years of experience in financial management across the private, public, and nonprofit sectors, with specialized expertise in financial institutions and nonprofit corporations. In addition, Cindy has vast experience in federal and state regulations and grant compliance. She is also responsible for risk management for the company’s assets. In terms of program compliance, she has overseen the structuring and reporting for $335 million in projects that have utilized Historic Tax Credits, State Affordable Housing Tax Credits, and TIF.  

Ms. Berg has over 20 years of experience in financial management in the private, public and non-profit sectors, with a focus on financial institutions and non-profit corporations. Cindy is a CPA, licensed in Illinois and Iowa, and holds a BBA degree in Accounting and Business Administration in Finance from Augustana College in Rock Island, IL. 

As a licensed CPA in both Illinois and Iowa, she holds a BBA in Accounting and Business Administration in Finance from Augustana College in Rock Island, IL.​

Board Affiliations & Community Involvement
Legacy Economic Growth Fund, LLC (CDE) and the Century Community Growth Fund, LLC (CDE), as well as the Board of Trustees for the Boys and Girls Clubs of the Mississippi Valley. She is the Treasurer for the Davenport West Vocal Music Boosters, past Junior Achievement volunteer, and a past PTA President for Buffalo Elementary School in Buffalo, IA.
