2026 Homebuyer Schedule

GROWTH offers specialized pre-purchase counseling and homebuyer education workshops designed specifically for Illinois residents, equipping homebuyers with the knowledge they need for a successful home-buying experience.

Participation in our one-day homebuyer education class is a mandatory requirement for all Illinois homebuyers involved in GROWTH’s homebuyer programs. This class must be completed before any homebuyer(s) can make an offer on a property, ensuring they are fully prepared for the responsibilities of homeownership.

Classes are available both online and in-person, with limited seating, once a month on a Saturday from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Participants who wish to attend virtually will need the following:
  • An active and accessible email address
  • Internet connection
  • A smartphone, computer, or tablet device
If you don't have internet access, you can call in to listen to the webinar using your phone. The webinar link will be emailed to participants one day before the session.
GROWTH is a HUD-approved Housing Counseling agency with HUD-certified Housing Counselors on staff, ensuring that our clients receive expert, reliable guidance throughout their homeownership journey.
