Personal Growth Workshop Series
Understanding Financial Literacy: a 3-workshop series designed to help Illinois residents with financial budgeting, financial management, and setting financial goals for the future
GROWTH, Bridge Investment Community Development Corporation, and Project NOW next three-part workshop series promoting personal growth through financial literacy, financial management, and financial goal setting for a better future will be held in April 2021.
The workshops are open to any Illinois resident and are free. Registration is required by calling 309-788-6311 or emailing email@example.com. The workshops will be offered by a hybrid style offering a very limited in-person opportunity with a maximum of five participants. The workshop will also be in an online webinar format for registrants who wish to participate remotely.
“Due to the success and response, we have received when we launched the Personal Growth Series in January, we are hosting the event again in April and hoping to do the same in July and October. As a HUD-approved housing counseling agency, GROWTH helps its clients increase their knowledge and ability to repair their credit, create a budget, purchase a home, and save for the future,” comments James Jones, Housing Manager, for GROWTH. “We’ve gotten a lot of inquiries from those wanting advice on what to do with their stimulus checks and how to ensure they are making the right choices based on their individual circumstances. This unique partnership between Bridge Investment Community Development Corporation, a Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI) and Project NOW, a regional Community Action Agency, is an innovative way for participants to receive a lot of valuable information and learn about opportunities that will help them build a better financial future.”
The second quarter, three part series workshops are scheduled to begin Monday, April 5, 2021 from 6:00-7:00 p.m. CST. Registration is required in advance by calling (309) 788-6311 or emailing firstname.lastname@example.org. Workshops are listed below. A link to the webinar will be provided upon registration confirmation.
